Turf reinforcement for vegetated slopes and channels
Nedia offers permanent synthetic mats and composite mats that combine natural fibers with synthetic reinforcement. Compare the construction first, then use the individual specification sheet to assess the model for the project.
Permanent turf reinforcement mats
PTRM products use synthetic reinforcement for applications requiring lasting support to established vegetation.

PTRM 270
Polypropylene fiber between two UV-stabilized polypropylene nets, sewn with UV-stabilized thread.

PTRM 340
Green polypropylene fiber enclosed by two heavyweight polypropylene nets and sewn with UV-stabilized thread.
PTRM 440
Green polypropylene fiber with two heavyweight polypropylene nets. Compare the model-specific performance values with PTRM 340 before selection.

PTRM 640
Green polypropylene fiber with three ultra-heavyweight polypropylene nets, securely sewn with UV-stabilized thread.

PTRM 3003D
A woven synthetic mat with a three-dimensional, pyramid-shaped structure for permanent turf reinforcement.
Composite turf reinforcement mats
CTRM products combine a natural fiber matrix with polypropylene reinforcement. The natural fibers biodegrade over time; the synthetic reinforcement remains.

CTRM 400SC
A fiber matrix of 70% agricultural straw and 30% coconut fiber, combined with three polypropylene nets and UV-stabilized stitching.

CTRM 500C
A coconut fiber matrix stitch-bonded between three layers of heavy-duty polypropylene netting.
CTRM 800
A coir composite mat reinforced with biaxial geogrid and heavy polypropylene netting.
Standard roll size: 7.5 ft × 72 ft.

Select for the site conditions
Consider slope geometry, soil, expected flow and vegetation establishment. Review both unvegetated and vegetated performance where applicable, together with the project safety factors and anchoring design.
Use the model-specific technical sheet and approved project requirements when selecting a mat. Confirm current specification compliance and availability with Nedia for the proposed installation.
